Sun City Dietitians provide resources for nutrition needs, some covered by health insurance. They offer one-on-one visits with an RD to discuss goals. For those seeking extra counseling and interaction, Sun City Dietitians can provide expertise, accountability, and regular feedback.
Our extended program helps with optimizing your health and nutrition goals.
We work with clients of all kinds, and there is no “typical” Sun City Dietitians (SCD) client, outside of each person’s desire to learn and change. We have patients with conditions such as diabetes, PCOS, obesity, kidney and liver disease, and those pursuing personal and performance goals such as weight maintenance and sports performance.
One of the unique features of these plans is that you have a registered dietitian with whom you build a close relationship. The SCD team can provide additional support and insight as needed. Throughout the process, your RD and the SCD team are committed to working with you. Our team has worked with clients of all ages and all stages of conditions. Whether you’re just starting your nutrition journey or you’ve struggled for many years, we likely have an RD well-suited and able to support you. Our additional services are either in a group setting or one-on-one.
Our RD VIP is highly personalized, gathering data in every appointment to inform the RD how to adjust your plan accordingly. We will provide weekly updates, unlimited email and chat access, ongoing feedback and recommendations, updates to your program as needed, and support through life’s various ups and downs. Because of the highly personalized support, we will bill for the initial three months; you can remain on monthly auto-billing after that.
We offer two support groups: Group Nutrition Support & Sweet Solutions. Group Nutrition Support is for those interested in meal planning and community support. Sweet Solutions is specifically for those with T2 diabetes; continued care for those completing our DSME or those seeking extra support with their diabetes. These programs provide long-term support in a group setting with regular contact with SCD staff at a relatively low cost. These services are billed month-to-month.
These charges are outside of what the insurance covers and your out-of-pocket cost, or individual self-pay appointments.
