Nutrition counseling is a method which focuses on your unique needs to help you improve your health with food and nutrition. We will work with you to identify problems, set priorities, and establish achievable goals.

If you are using our services for the first time, the information provided below will help you understand how much the services offered by Sun City Dietitians will cost you.

We primarily see patients with insurance. We are currently contracted with all major commercial plans, Medicare, and Medicaid. However, we also provide care for those that need or prefer to pay out-of-pocket.

Initial Assessment

$135

- 60 minute session

- Review your medical history and nutrition-related lab values (ex: lipid panel)

- Assess your dietary intake and preferences

- Establish goals that focus on your individual concerns

- Provide up to 7-day customized dietary plans and recommendations

Follow-up Visits

$60

- These visits will be decided between you and your RD, and/or what your insurance covers

- 30 minute session (add $30/15 min increments if needed; ex: 45 min = $90 & 1 hr = $120)

- Review your progress and provide assistance as needed

- Set new goals or modify current goals

- Adjust or modify customized dietary plans and recommendations
